Over the course of this vacation, I discovered that my parents had been keeping extensive fuel economy records for their two vehicles. The data on one of them, a Dodge Stratus, went all the way back to 2003. Finding myself with a lot of free time and a computer sporting Excel, I decided to do some data mining to see what I could learn.<\/p>\n<p>The result of this is a short paper that I wrote on the plane ride back to California. I&#8217;m toying with the idea of submitting this paper somewhere, but I thought I&#8217;d share it here and get opinions.
