None of my MIT colleagues are around SLAC, and the office building where I work gets a little lonely between collaboration meetings. Nonetheless, I have no lack of work to do and I find getting away from the office and working elsewhere is quite effective, on occasion. That said, I&#8217;ve managed one paper review, steady progress on analysis for the summer, and even some code development.<\/p>\n<p>Surrounded by the academic life here at Stanford, I find my concentration a little better.
