The road should have been two thick streams of cars &#8211; people fleeing Sunday services to get to their favorite restaurants before everybody else. If people attended services today, they didn&#8217;t do it in the same numbers. If they skipped services, they also skipped going out to lunch. It was like having the whole town to myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The roads were thin with cars. There seemed as many on the main road as coming onto the main road from the cross-roads &#8230; not an impressive ratio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s one thing to think about social distancing, and quite another to watch it in real time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first thing I noticed when I turned onto one of the main roads during my run was the lack of cars.
