Having just returned last night from Wisconsin, I find myself today in the San Jose airport waiting for my flight to the Tri-cities airport in Washington State. I had enough time to placate the cats, clean up the apartment a little (it was in excellent shape, actually, thanks to Roomba and a careful pre-trip cleaning last week), sleep, and re-pack. <\/p>\n
It’s a mercifully short flight – about an hour to Portland, then about an hour to Washington. The meeting is being held at a national lab in Washington, PSSL, and the heads of many user groups from labs across the U.S. will be there. This is an annual event, a way to share the user experience at our diverse national labs and to find common solutions to problems of lab access, living space, and quality of life for users.<\/p>\n
