It’s ATLAS Week again! This is a time for many ATLAS collaborators to come together (this time at CERN) and share in very high-level discussions of physics and technology in the ATLAS experiment. From my perspective, this week is important because of all of the current recommendations that will be presented for physics tools needed for both the winter and spring. In addition, a lot of work will be going on this week in the ATLAS Higgs Working group, keeping all of us from the SMU group very busy.
In addition to the usual contingent of student and post-docs who are based at CERN, both Prof. Stroynowski and I are here – so we have a pretty good representation from the SMU ATLAS group.
