Tomorrow is the single longest stretch of my seminar tour: Montreal to Columbus. I am planning to leave early, around 6 am, to beat traffic here in Montreal and get an early start on the 11 hour drive to Columbus.
My visit to McGill has been perfect. This is a great city, and McGill has a great campus – compact but full of history and charm. I have not felt like I am in the middle of an such a diverse and international setting in a very long time, and I find Montreal very comfortable. My seminar seems to have gone very well, and I had a great time meeting with graduate students this morning to talk research and politics ahead of my seminar.
I’m tired, but ready for my drive and ready to be recharged one more time for my seminar at OSU on Friday.
