Today I depart for Uppsala, to collaborate a little bit with my colleagues at Uppsala University. Uppsala is something of an intellectual powerhouse when it comes to the charged Higgs boson (they host a regular conference on the subject, and I have enjoyed participating in one of those conferences many years ago). Jet lag is, of course, in full effect, though I slept 11 hours last night. I still feel like a person "displaced" from their correct time (time travel sucks, for the record), but what the hell . . . travel is part of life and I might as well enjoy this. So why not travel for a second day in a row!
