The Voyager probe looks back on our planet, so many decades ago. Our whole civilization, and all the wonders and terrors it has wrought, clinging to a pale blue ornament that hangs, lit by its parent star, nearly alone in the void.
We arrived in Park Falls about an hour ago. It was slow going once we hit the snow, but we got here safe and sound.
Jodi and I swapped who is driving, since I took the morning and early afternoon shifts. She’ll close out our road trip today. We should arrive in Park Falls, WI around 8pm. It took forever on this drive, but we finally got far enough north to see snow!
