Bill Foster, a physicist formerly at the Fermi National Accelerator Lab and a businessman in the Aurora, IL area, won the House seat formerly held by Dennis Hastert. Let’s all cross our fingers and hope that Foster can keep an eye on the nation’s science investment, while executing his other duties, in what could be the start of a reversal of last year’s Omnibus bill disaster.
