Biking the South Bay

Jodi and I hit the bike trail this afternoon. We drove down to Palo Alto, took Bayshore Drive East right off of Embarcadero, and parked by a wooden bridge and the bayshore bike trails. One of the attractions of this ride was that we knew it would take us very close to NASA Ames Research Center, a massive complex with towering hangers and strange spherical and cylindrical buildings and tanks sitting right on the south end of the Bay.

It was a beautiful day for this ride. With temperatures in the 80s, and a constant wind from the Bay, we biked around winding and connecting trails, skirted past the research center, and enjoys the sights and scents of the salt marsh. We also took advantage of Jodi’s new mobile phone, complete with a decent little camera!
